OUR RESTAURANT & CAFE
The aesthetics of our restaurant is traditionally Greek and it is characterized by "warmth" and "hospitality".
Our newly built Restaurant - Cafe can be found in the cultural and aesthetically beautiful region of Ammoopi and it was designed from the beginning, in order to serve the needs of a modern restaurant.
The intelligent planning makes our restaurant extremely flexible indeed and we can satisfy all kinds of customers, private individuals of professionals.
Symposium Restaurant & Cafe has the possibility of hosting and entertaining roughly 80 individuals.
Gathering around the table during the nights, having fun with your company and listening to the soft music, your are going to enjoy the most of Greek summer nights in the island of Karpathos.

Every day at the Symposium Restaurant & Cafe you can taste all local dishes of Karpathos served with care from our experienced and friendly personnel.
We have an extensive menu with all dishes prepared to the highest standard.
Our menu includes Italian, Mediterranean and Vegetarian cuisine, but our specialities are traditional Greek and Karpathian dishes.
We also have a wide range of Drinks and Wines
to accompany your meal.
Symposium Restaurant & Cafe also has a special children’s menu featuring a variety of dishes to satisfy your little ones!.
All our food is made from the freshest ingredients
and most of the ingredients are localy-grown, ensuring the highest quality of food.
We believe that the freshness of the ingredients we use really does help to make our dishes outstandingly delicious!

OUR LOCATION (Ammoopi Village - Karpathos)
It is found half way from the airport on the way to Pigadia (roughly 6Km away), and also 6 Km from the nearest village of Menetes.
Asphalt motorway connects Amoopi with the all villages of Karpathos.
Public buses and taxis serve daily the Ammoopi region.
The endless view with the open horizon, the crystal beaches,
the brilliant light of the sun, the dry climate, the cool wind with zero
humidity compose magic and a dream of the Aegean island.
Ammoopi has excellent hotels and appartments, spaciously rooms for rent, taverns, restaurants, offices for renting cars and motorbikes and all the facilities of communication and transport. The beaches of Ammoopi unfold and extent for roughly six kilometres
from "Pouliou to potami beach" up to the "Fokia beach".

KARPATHOS ISLAND
The island of Karpathos is the second largest in size out of the Dodecanese islands, and is located between the islands of Rhodes and Crete.
The island is one with a very rich history that dates back from prehistoric times. Remains of settlements over 6000 years old were discovered on Karpathos. From the writings of Homer,
we know that the island was reported as being "the island of winds", and visitors today will quickly discover just how true this description was.
Karpathos is an island that has successfully managed to maintain the traditional customers throughout the years, and provides a landscape
of extreme contrasts as the rich and green mountains blend perfectly with the golden coloured sandy beaches and the blue waters
of the Aegean sea.
The waters around Karpathos are so clean that the Mediterranean seal "Monachus-Monachus" chose to live here.
