• Superb, unique and quiet beaches: Agios Minas Forokli, Michaliou Kipos, Prasonisi, Diakoftis, Pouliou Potami, Psoraris, Pounta, Agios Thoros, Agrilaopotamos, Kato Lakkos, Kamarakia, Proni and many others.

• Organised Beaches:Apella (awarded as the best beach in the Mediterranean in 2002), Kira Panagia, Achata, Ammopi, Agios Nikolaos (in Arkasa), Panagias Limani (Lefkos), Fragolimionas (Lefkos), Gialou Horafi (Lefkos).

"Very few islands in Greece offer such variation in beaches:
clear blue waters, beaches with golden sand, tiny, or bigger pebbles), long or small private beaches, exotic beaches surrounded by pine trees".

This variety and uniqueness of the Karpathian beaches became
the subject of publishing a booklet by the Municipality of Karpathos.
